The Show: PANGEA

Multi-instrumentalist, Abraham Cupeiro, from Galicia Spain, known for his recovery of Instruments lost in time brings his show PANGEA to North America.

This performance invites you on a musical journey across the supercontinent, Pangea, harnessing the enchanting power of sound. Experience a kaleidoscope of musical styles that weaves together the whispers of ocean shells, the mysterious melismas of the Hulusi from the remote mountains of China, the vast expanses of North American plateaus, the vibrant jungles of South America, the soulful melodies of the Peule flute from Senegal, the haunting tunes of the Bulgarian bagpipe, the bold notes of the Zurna, and the evocative echoes of the ancient karnyx.

These rich soundscapes come together to paint the auditory canvas of Pangea, featuring original compositions by Abraham Cupeiro and María Ruiz.
